They provide event, business, and talent services, among other things. Managing a diverse range of talents, including show hosts, singers, musicians, and entertainers, they have entertained and produced stages of all kinds. The Merry Bees event and content creation ecosystem is complete with its own fleet of audiovisual equipment, which is operated by the company's own sound engineers, graphic artists, videographers, and editors, enabling them to conceptualize, plan, and manage your event from start to end. 

Job Description
  1. Coordinate event venue arrangements, programmes and materials
  2. Manage onsite logistics, lighting/AV/and staging requirements, bumping out activities
  3. Managing production crew and other professionals in production houses
  4. Audio Visual crew at events (laptop operator, sound operator, camera operator) and shoots.
  5. Coordinating shoots, wardrobe, events on-site
  6. Prepare storyboard, shot list and call list for shoots.
  7. Plan, execute and coordinator shoots with Clients and production crew members
  8. Handle customer enquiries and requests
  9. Manage project timelines
  10. Provide administrative and operational support
  11. Photography and videography tasks at events and shoots
  12. Production assistant to event, livestream and video production/technical team.
  13. Conduct equipment check and carry out proper storage
  14. Administer customer feedback and prepare post event report
  15. Other adhoc duties when required

Learning Outcomes:

  1. Gaining knowledge and firsthand experience at handling various brands of professional sound systems, musical instruments and amplifiers.
  2. Mentorship and coaching by experienced sound engineers on techniques of handling sound system, cabling, and digital/analog mixer consoles
  3. Gain and experience a myriad of portfolio and projects in events 
  4. Ability to plan and project manage a physical/hybrid event from start to finish
  5. Execute successfully an event from start to end
  6. Grow in cultural awareness, events and entertainment knowledge
  7. Gain experience in handling client’s requests 
  8. Ability to juggle time-sensitive assignments, projects and client management
  9. Obtain physical / hybrid / virtual event management skills
  10. Gain post-event management skills
  11. Exposure and networking with Singapore’s live event talents – artistes, singers, DJs, musicians, emcees, etc.
  12. Soft skills that will never be taught in the classroom

Criteria:

  1. Background in Production, Audio & Visual Technology, Film & Media Studies, Events Management, Audio Visual Engineer or other related discipline.
  2. Pleasant and possess good written and verbal communication skills in English
  3. Have an interest in visual and audio production activities
  4. Knowledge and fluency in Mandarin and other languages is a bonus
  5. Able and open to work under pressure and willing to work flexible hours
  6. No prior experience is required but candidate must have a positive and resillient attitude, motivated and excited to learn new skills.
  7. Team Player and pleasant personality
