An opportunity is now available for a career-minded individual to join us in MSC South East Asia (Singapore) Pte Ltd, as Coordinator, Trade.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Manager, Trade your main responsibility is to support functions to the Commercial team, including the accuracy of data and information entered in relevant system, generation report, and correspondences with internal departments and external customers.
Your key responsibilities include the following:
- Assist trade rates filing in TMS
- Distribute the correct FAK rates to customers on time
- Handling customer complaints and troubleshooting issues with products or services
- Accessing databases to retrieve account information for customers, monitor and follow up on special cargoes
- Monitor shipments progressing to ensure timely movement of the cargo and resolve operational issues or delays
- Escalating queries and concerns when necessary to regional office or MSC Geneva
- To perform any other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Who We Are Looking For
- Minimum Diploma in any discipline
- Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in shipping industry
- Candidates with TP trade experience, especially in FMC filings, will be preferred
- Strong MS Office software application, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Portnet (preferred)
- Strong written & spoken English Skills
- Good Communication and Interpersonal skills
- Customer Orientated
- Team Player
- Self-driven and passionate about dealing with people
- Able to work independently
- Meticulous with an eye for details
- Adaptive
