INTERNSHIP SUMMARY:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Network Engineer trainee to join our team. This role provides an excellent opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in engineering design and technical configuration of telecommunication, safety & security, and marine navigation systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Take ownership of system design & implementation to make a truly access and complete of client requirements until full closure of the project delivery.
- Conduct factory acceptance test in the workshop, providing FAT report.
- Deliver customer training, presentation and support.
- Assist senior engineers in understanding client requirements and contribute to proposing suitable technical solutions.
- Support in preparing engineering documentation and ensure timely and accurate submission.
- Learn and apply industry standards and best practices in engineering design and documentation.
- Provide support in system configuration, simulation, testing, and verification under supervision.
- Assist in factory acceptance testing (FAT) and participate in technical training sessions.
- Collaborate with team members on various tasks and projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor in Computer Science, Network or equivalent field.
- Well organized documentation, objective driven, time-sensitive and resourceful.
- Strong interest in Marine Industry.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts.
- Willingness to learn and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Academic project experience in marine industry is an added advantage.
