Job Description
* This is a 1 year contract role with full benefits (subject to extension/conversion) *
Key Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on mechanical/electrical assembly tasks within the standard time
- Ensure that the assembled machine is according to Makino's quality standards
- Responsible for keying the operation time into EES for performance measurement
- Responsible for housekeeping and ensuring that the assigned machine area is clean and tidy
- Carry out duties in according with Quality Policy, EHS control procedures and WIS
- Ensure that all machine tools and instruments are properly calibrated and taken care of
Job Requirements
- Minimum NITEC/Higher NITEC in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Experience working in assembly/production is an added advantage
- Able to work shifts and commit to overtime on weekdays and weekends when required
- Able to handle physical work and stand for long hours
- Able to read and interpret drawings
- Have the initiative to learn and produce quality outcome
- Responsible and committed to the assigned task
- Team player and able to work independently
