Job Description

* This is a 1 year contract role with full benefits (subject to extension/conversion) *

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform hands-on mechanical/electrical assembly tasks within the standard time
  • Ensure that the assembled machine is according to Makino's quality standards
  • Responsible for keying the operation time into EES for performance measurement
  • Responsible for housekeeping and ensuring that the assigned machine area is clean and tidy
  • Carry out duties in according with Quality Policy, EHS control procedures and WIS
  • Ensure that all machine tools and instruments are properly calibrated and taken care of

Job Requirements

  • Minimum NITEC/Higher NITEC in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience working in assembly/production is an added advantage
  • Able to work shifts and commit to overtime on weekdays and weekends when required
  • Able to handle physical work and stand for long hours
  • Able to read and interpret drawings
  • Have the initiative to learn and produce quality outcome
  • Responsible and committed to the assigned task
  • Team player and able to work independently
