We are building a modern revival of a historic Southeast Asian department store brand originally established in the 1930s. Once known for introducing iconic international products to the region, this venture is being reimagined as a curated platform for timeless, under-distributed heritage and boutique brands across fashion, lifestyle, and homeware.
We’re looking for a highly motivated branding and strategy to work directly with the founder on a wide range of early-stage commercial and strategic initiatives. You’ll help shape brand outreach, go-to-market proposals, competitive benchmarking, and investor positioning — while getting exposure to the full process of building a culturally anchored consumer platform from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
Research and profile global heritage or niche brands across fashion, lifestyle, and homeware
Assist in developing brand decks, outreach materials, and partnership proposals
Benchmark regional players and map whitespace opportunities
Support commercial model design (e.g., licensing, distribution, consignment)
Contribute to investor materials, internal memos, and growth planning
Support light archival storytelling and brand heritage positioning
Ideal Candidate
Student or recent graduate in Business, Marketing, or related field
Excellent research, writing, and presentation skills
Highly independent, detail-oriented, and commercially curious
Proficient in Google Slides / PowerPoint; basic Excel modeling preferred
