Lovingly Signed Pte Ltd – Fashion Designer & Buyer

As a fashion designer and buyer, you are responsible for the products that Lovingly Signed sells, making your role crucial in the company's growth.

You directly oversee the development of baby-related apparel/goods - which are targeted toward the baby market and price range.

Based on your research of our target customers' buying patterns, you will design, plan and make buying decisions to bring in new products that will expand our product range.

You'll decide on fabrics, colors, and patterns, produce sample designs and adjust them until you're happy with the final product.

You may work to your brief or be given a brief to work towards, with specifications relating to color, fabric and budget. 

Responsibilities

• Research trending and in-market products to determine the right product mix and quantity to bring in.

• Ideate captivating product designs that will enthrall customers, making them fall in love with our products

• Designs and assists with producing apparel, identify trends, and selects styles, fabrics, colors, prints, and trims for a collection.

• Managing design process with external vendors from conception through to final styling, production, and delivery

• Planning & executing product photoshoots whenever a new product is launched

• Additional ad-hoc social media works (such as posting your product designs on Lovingly Signed's Instagram page).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Buying, Art, or Fashion related fields

• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator

• Ability to do sketches by hand

• Excellent design and conceptual skills

• Excellent sense of style and color

• Fluency in English and Mandarin

• Highly methodical, able to meet deadlines

• Willingness to learn and thrive under pressure
