Position: AutoCAD Designer / Interior Designer
Job Summary: We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented AutoCAD Designer / Interior Designer to prepare technical drawings, layouts, and detailed interior design plans. The ideal candidate should have strong AutoCAD skills, an eye for design, and the ability to translate concepts into accurate, practical drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings for interior spaces, including floor plans, furniture layouts, elevations, sections and ceiling plans.
- Develop detailed drawings for interior fit-outs, joinery, furniture and architectural elements.
- Convert design concepts and sketches into accurate technical drawings.
- Prepare working drawings and construction/detail drawings for site execution.
- Coordinate drawings with architects, MEP consultants, contractors and vendors.
- Make revisions based on client, consultant and site requirements.
- Conduct site measurements and incorporate them accurately into drawings.
- Assist with material, furniture and finish selections where required.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and design standards.
- Maintain proper documentation and drawing revisions.
- Coordinate with the project team to ensure timely completion of drawings.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of interior detailing, furniture layouts, joinery and construction drawings.
- Experience with SketchUp, 3D Max, Revit or Photoshop would be an advantage.
- Good understanding of materials, finishes and interior construction.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Experience: Typically 2–5 years of relevant experience in interior design, architecture, fit-out or construction projects.
