Regional Seller Growth team, inside the regional Platform team, is responsible for steering and improving seller growth in the first months after the sellers join the Lazada Marketplace. Regionally, our objective is to ensure that services provided to our merchants are done with efficiency and scale and enable them to sell more and faster. Hence, data analysis supports our projects and is a key role of the department.
You will:
- Support analytics requirements for Growth, i.e., helping new sellers and existing sellers sell fast and more
- Connect with regional Business Intelligence and country teams to provide more insights on the interpretation of the data
- Generate communication supports to management on KPIs
- Design new Excel dashboards
- Follow up with countries on performance
- Forecast volume and number of new sellers and activities required to incubate them
- Update the management team on weekly progress.
Requirements
- Ability to extract, manipulate and present data to a wide audience from on-the-field agents to senior management
- Ability to analyze data and gather business insights from it
- Currently studying 3rd or final year undergraduate degree in Data science or Computer science.
- High level of comfort in the use of the MS office suite (especially for Excel and Powerpoint)
- Experience with any SQL
Preferred experience
- Previous experience as a data analyst
- Previous experience in generating forecasts
- Previous experience with MySQL
