JOB PURPOSE
Regional Supply and Operations Continuous Improvement Program using Data Analytics
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analysing data through analytical approaches to support the supply and operations process and apply statistical processes to develop Key Performance Indicators and Forcast accuracy
- Analyse current trends and identify the limitations in the current process and highlight key problem statements for improvement.
- Scenario mapping and case study review, to allow for appropriate risk management for inventory, cost, write off and shelf life of key products to facilitate appropriate inventory management across the 8 different markets covering Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China Thailand and Korea
- Develop Key Performance Indicators in line with findings and implement Visual Metrics
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- This position would be highly suited to an energetic self starter with Big Data, Analytical, Mathematical or Financial mindset with the desire to understand Pharmaceutical Supply Chain, commercial supply and demand processes, understanding lead times and consequences of key decisions for purchasing and inventory.
- With linkages to inventory management an Innovative out of the box thinker with a good statistical background would be ideally suited. Proficient in Excel advantageous
SUPERVISION PLAN
The intern will be assigned tasks from SCM manager and attend department meetings, the individual is expected to attend Daily Operations meetings where he/she will be asked if there is anything they need support to achieve their task
