Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Possess a good understanding of corporate sales travel, business meetings & events
  • Building close relationships with local & global customers, especially with wide connections with companies in Japan
  • Drive and develop business meetings & events from its existing or potential clients in Singapore
  • Develop and execute complex strategic plans to achieve meetings & events promotion
  • Review and execute complex solicitation and prepare a customised request for individual clients
  • Provide excellent customer service & development of long-term relationships with current & prospective clients
  • Transfer of corporate sales travel, meetings & events knowledge / methods and human resource development within the organization
  • Any other ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned by the company from time to time

Experience & Skill-set required:

  1. Candidate with at least 5 years of relevant work experience in corporate sales travel and/or meetings or events field
  2. Fluent in both English & Advanced Business Japanese language skills is essential as well as proper business communication & written skills to liaise closely with Japan counterparts
  3. Proficient in MS Office
  4. Highly self-motivated with sales result driven approach
  5. Customer service oriented, excellent presentation & negotiation skills
