This is a 5-month internship program running from August to December. Please apply only if you are able to commit to the full duration of the internship.
What You Will Learn:
- You'll collaborate with the Risk & Compliance team to support ad hoc projects and day-to-day business-as-usual (BAU) activities while gaining exposure to key compliance functions.
- You'll assist in reviewing, implementing, and maintaining policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial crime regulations.
- You'll support the development and maintenance of risk and compliance systems, including Compliance Monitoring Programmes (CMP) and Financial Crime Business Risk Assessments (FCBRA).
- You'll manage and organize documentation and information to support internal and external audit requests while ensuring accuracy and completeness of records.
- You'll identify potential compliance and financial crime risks, conduct screening and adverse media searches, escalate concerns to relevant stakeholders, and develop an understanding of compliance frameworks and regulatory escalation processes.
Qualifications
What We Look For:
- You have prior experience in Compliance, Due Diligence, or business management, which is preferred but not essential.
- You demonstrate a proactive, can-do attitude and can work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- You can multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and manage your time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- You communicate fluently in English, and proficiency in a second language is considered an advantage.
