Job Description

We are looking for an Innovation Programmes Intern based in Singapore who can support the delivery of our accelerator programmes, open innovation challenges, and events. It is an excellent opportunity to work with a growing, successful, and progressive company, and you will get hands-on experience in accelerator programme management, open innovation initiatives, marketing and business development, as well as gain exposure to the tech ecosystem and a diverse professional network. 

The Role

We are looking for an energetic team player with a can-do attitude. Ideally, you will have a varied kill set and a genuine interest in technologies and entrepreneurship. 

Duties will be varied and match the pace and needs of the programmes we deliver. In this role you will: 

  • Support the delivery of our accelerator programmes and open innovation challenges, including scouting and evaluating startups and scaleups, engaging with speakers, mentors, and partners, organising workshops and engagement sessions, liaising with platform partners to configure the challenge platform, handling participant communications, as well as tracking and reporting progress 
  • Planning and organising logistics relating to our online and in-person events 
  • Efficiently manage our social media channels, prepare our monthly newsletters, and update our website to ensure that the content is relevant and engaging 
  • Support the team in preparation of client proposals and tenders 
  • Generally providing support to the Head of Programmes and CEO 

Skills, qualifications and experience required

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate programme
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Great research and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Digitally literate and picks up new knowledge and skills quickly 
  • Self-motivated and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment 
  • Interest in technology, programme management, ecosystem building, marketing and business development 
  • Ideally some experience in marketing, event/programme coordination and driving engagement with external stakeholders
