Job Description

APAC Intelligence Analyst The APAC Security Control Center (ASCC) is responsible for supporting emergency and non-emergency events, researching regional and global affairs, incoming call mitigation, event dispatching and emergency notification services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In an emergency situation, the ASCC directs and coordinates regional security assistance and support by providing technical and advisory assistance for the performance of essential operational services; the issuance of warnings of risks and hazards, dissemination of employee information, as well as serving as the central communication intake point for Global Security in APAC. 

The role will be the first line of the tactical intelligence function and crisis response initiative that enhances the situational awareness and operational readiness of the Global Security Operations (GSO) leadership and the outputs of the APAC Security Control Centre (ASCC). The Intel Analyst, APAC role is a highly motivated and capable analyst looking to work in a high performance environment that is fast-paced, and dynamic. The analyst role will require to identify and assess risks that have the potential to impact business operations. He/She will have a solid reporting to the ASCC Manager with a dotted line reporting to the Regional Intelligence Manager. 

Responsibilities shall include but not limited to: - Providing high level risk assessments, situational updates, and intel support to the Regional Security team. - Monitor publicly available open-source content online (surface web) using advanced techniques and proprietary systems to provide a 24/7 (follow the sun) tactical intelligence picture as directed by business stakeholders. - Actively threat hunt for risk events that may adversely impact the Company’s people, assets and reputation at the tactical level – with particular emphasis on indicators and warnings requiring a physical security response. - Conducting analysis of political, security, operational, and macro-economic risks across APAC. - Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management 

Requirements: - Advanced degree in Political Science/ International Relations/ Strategic Studies/ Security Studies, or related major - Regional expertise - Demonstrated body of work regarding security issues - Excellent report writing skills which may include incident/event analysis, regional risk and business impact analysis. - High standard of written/spoken English – essential for report writing and briefing. - Open-source intelligence and research experience are essential. - Robust research and analytical skills with emphasis on tactical considerations. - Able to receive direct feedback and respond effectively. - Time management and organizational skills, with ability to prioritize time-sensitive issues. - Effective computer skills like, Boolean Search Queries. MS Office/ Office 365 Apps and good awareness of online security vulnerabilities with consideration for personal security. - Added advantage to have a foreign language capability Ability to: - Interpret regional security signals, assess and lean into risk - Maintain an awareness of geopolitical/risk trends - Communicate relevant analysis to the ASCC Manager
