I-Access Solutions – Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities: 

• Define, develop and implement quality assurance practices and procedures, test plans and other QA assessments.
• Work directly with Project Development Team and Maintenance Team to understand project objectives and approach of software development projects.
• Involve in Project Implementation aspects that include assisting the Project Manager in the following:
• Perform internal testing via automated testing tools to check, rectify and test system on program error.
• Preparing test cases and performing UAT with users, tracking defect log and perform impact analysis on the defect items, categorize the defects into enhancement (if any), reporting UAT progress and status update to project manager and client’s project managers & business sponsors and obtain UAT sign-off
• Communicate and work closely with Software Development Team on problems reported or enhancements needed for the software.

Requirements:

• Min Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science/ Computer Engineering
• Preferably > 1 year experience in IT Industry managing large-scale applications project
• Experience in VB.Net, ASP.net, Microsoft SQL Server will be an advantage.
• Ability to multi task and to work under pressure
• Strong Analytical and Problem Solving Skills
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral
