HipVan – Accounts Executive

Job Summary

HipVan is seeking an Accounts Executive to help manage the daily accounting activities needed for the company. You will be responsible for the upkeeping of all accounting records in place and making sure all practices are in accordance to the law.

Job Description

• Responsible for the full spectrum of accounting activities (book keeping, full set of accounts and reporting)
• Perform all accounting functions in accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Manage timely monthly closing process and reconciliations
• Manage financial reporting and coordinate for annual audits with auditors and accounting agents
• Resolve accounting discrepancies
• Work closely with cross functional team members (finance, merchandising, operations)
• Oversee, review & implement an effective system of internal control procedures and reporting

Requirements

• Must speak, write, and fully understand both English and Mandarin in order to liaise with English and Chinese speaking associates
• A Diploma or degree in accountancy, finance or economics
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities successfully
• Experienced in working in highly collaborative, fast-paced environments
• Experienced in Xero is an advantage
• Highly organized and motivated, a team player and fast learner
