Helicap is hiring Investment / Management Analysts for its Credit Fund and Investment Deal Platform in its Singapore office. Analysts will be deeply involved across investments, portfolio management and investor relations functions, and gain exposure and skills in investment analysis, financial modeling, data analytics and stakeholder management. Analysts to be involved in:
- Sourcing, evaluation, structuring, and execution of investment transactions within technology and alternative lending industries
- Strategising and development of investment thesis including competitor analysis on opportunities
- Preparation of investment slide decks and financial modeling of credit instruments
- Presentation and marketing of investment propositions to senior management, investors and business partners
- Development of Helicap’s technology and data analytics platform
- Work with legal, financial and other consultants on fundraising and start-up advisory
- Continuous investment management of private debt / venture capital deals and in terms of forecasting and monitoring financial returns and portfolio performance
- Participate in Business Development initiatives within portfolio companies
- Assist to scale and optimise onboarding process to identify, profile, and qualify capital from institutional investors and high net worth individuals
- Work with the business development team to achieve onboarding and investment targets
- Assist in marketing, business development, and advertising efforts and organize events to increase company branding and sales
Through this traineeship, the Analyst will:
- Develop technical skills in financial modeling and data analysis on Microsoft Excel
- Develop expertise in credit analysis
- Gain a deep understanding of the alternative lending space
- Gain familiarity in financial statement analysis
- Improve problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Develop organization, communications and investor relations skills
We have 1 traineeship position available for Singapore citizens or Permanent Residents who have graduated or are graduating from universities in year 2019 / 2020.
