ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Marketing Associate & Country Manager, the Copywriting Intern will join our marketing team and play a crucial role in driving business results through impactful communication. The perfect candidate would have the ability to think strategically & creatively, have a good way with words, a can-do attitude, and a willingness to learn and adapt.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Work with Marketing Associate & Country Manager in driving business results through effective & aggressive marketing plan for 2020/2021
– Create engaging written content for website, SEO, email marketing, social media, and PR related articles. You are expected to adapt and communicate according to our brand tone.
– Proactively participate in marketing decisions, including market research, planning, content ideation, prioritisation, and execution of high-impact marketing campaigns
– Assist with other assignments when required
REQUIREMENTS:
– Excellent command of written and spoken English
– Loves writing, and writing content related to gifting & lifestyle
– Design skills (Photoshop, Photography) are a plus
– A love for flowers, gifting, and making people happy!
– Ability to translate business inputs to impactful & delightful communication
– A strong sense of urgency, responsibility, focus, discipline, and continuous learning
– No prior experience in floristry necessary
– Comfortable working independently, and as part of a (very small!) team
– Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
INTERNSHIP PERIOD:
At least 3 months, preferably from beginning November 2020 – end February 2021
