Our vaccines facility at Tuas is a key manufacturing site withinour global network supplying the active ingredients used to make multiplepediatric vaccines. Tuas site was officially opened in 2009. To date, the site has played a key role in producing more than 800 million vaccines for pneumococcal diseases. Tuas has a workforce of more than 415 employees.


We are expanding operations at our Tuas site adding new exciting products to our production capabilities and becoming an even more significant part of GSK’s worldwide vaccines supply chain. Job Description

Intern - Culture and Communications (Ref: 359373)


What will you do? 

  • Partner with our Culture and Communications Lead to drive internal communications within GSK and assist with culture embedment 
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to produce culture and communication campaigns and programme rollout.
  • Support the GSK Vaccines Global Industrial Operations business with engaging communication activities.
  • Work closely with the Communications Lead to plan and execute engaging communication plans.
  • Develop ongoing communication campaigns and assets, including but not limited to slides, articles, and visual/video assets.
  • Produce and write high-quality and engaging stories for internal audiences.
  • Use analytics and tools to advise and inform social media engagement/content plans.
  • Organize and support internal events within GSK.Engage with stakeholders within GSK. 

What are we looking for? 

  • Educational background – Undergraduate studying Bachelor in Communications or related field who is interested in learning more about a manufacturing environment and vaccines
  • Strong interest and passion for communications and culture.
  • Has excellent command of written and verbal English. Able to write clearly with an audience-centric mindset.
  • Can use basic programmes (e.g., PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, Premier Pro or Windows Movie Maker) to create communication assets.
  • Is able to analyze data and provide actionable insights.
  • Is a team player who can work with other communicators across the GSK business and stakeholders who are embedded in the business.
  • Is creative and resourceful in problem solving.
