Green Nudge started in 2018 and has since worked to create more than 50 activities and engagements with corporate organisations, community groups as well as youths.

Job Description
  • Brief Description:

    This position is responsible for playing an important role in sharing the stories of what Green Nudge does with potential clients and invite them to consider working with us through the activities and services we provide. Working alongside the team, the intern's role involves understanding the specific needs of youths and young working adults so that they are willing to work with us through paid engagements as well as volunteering opportunities in the green sustainability space. This role is suitable if you are looking to explore the types of organisations looking at CSR/ sustainability and engaging their employees, of which many deal with youth and young working adults.

  • Roles and Responsibilities:

    1) Handle and address queries about the services we offer from potential clients, particularly from students and youth groups
    2) Assist in preparing proposals for for youths and youth community organisations, including green community groups
    3) Work with representatives from the youth community to manage and facilitate ground up community work
    4) You will also be required to carry out the following: Help out in the implementation and execution of ongoing events, including but not limited to cleanups, workshops, learning journeys and events, with varying roles such as taking charge of logistics, equipment or timelines, and facilitate learning journeys or workshops to a wide range of audience from pre-schoolers to corporates

  • Learning Objectives and Outcomes:

    1) Gain experience with interacting with people in both small and large group settings, with ample opportunities to practice and execute public speaking and facilitation
    2) Building up competency in Communications and Engagement, including how to engage various stakeholders (from people, private and public sectors) professionally
    3) Develop competency in project management skills including taking on specific pieces of work and having the flexibility to suggest and implement solutions
    4) Learn about the dealing with organisations who wish to do more about CSR/ sustainability and how social and community initiatives can be weaved into organisations
