Green Nudge started in 2018 and has since worked to create more than 50 activities and engagements with corporate organisations, community groups as well as youths.

Job Description
  • Brief Description:

    This position is responsible for understanding our target audience and putting out meaningful messages with strong call-to-actions to allow us to achieve our aim of a low carbon zero waste outcome more effectively. Working alongside the team, the intern's role involves learning more about specific needs of the green community and inviting interested youths and young working adults to participate and be more involved with sustainability issues. This role is suitable if you are looking to consider weaving your skillsets into the green sector and explore careers in the sustainability sector with a design, marketing or communications angle.

  • Roles and Responsibilities:

    1) Assist in brainstorming, create and execute digital marketing and content creation for website and social media channels
    2) Managing company's social media profiles and presence, and assisting in existing marketing campaigns, email campaigns or promotions
    3) Help out in the implementation and execution of ongoing events, including but not limited to clean-ups, workshops, learning journeys and events, with varying roles such as taking charge of logistics, equipment or timelines
    4) Facilitate learning journeys or workshops to a wide range of audience from pre-schoolers to corporates

  • Learning Objectives and Outcomes:

    1) Build up competency in Communications and Engagement, including how to engage various stakeholders (from people, private and public sectors) professionally
    2) Learn how to communicate with youths and young working adults, including through online and offline channels to develop suitable and persuasive content
    3) Develop competency in project management skills including taking on specific pieces of work and having the flexibility to suggest and implement solutions
    4) Develop personally by learning through daily tasks and operations in a small start-up and build awareness on range of roles and organisations in the social and sustainability green space
