We are seeking an intern with experience in process modelling to join our young & fun team to build an in-house membrane modelling software that will enable users to design optimized and realistic membrane systems. Candidate will get to apply their process simulation skills to build innovative solutions that can tackle real life engineering problems.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Opportunity to design and develop a membrane modeling software that will simulate the performance of various membranes across a range of operating conditions
  • Outline and implement various tests to validate accuracy of the tool
  • Perform senstivity analysis to identify key parameters and their impact on model outputs
  • Execute various optimization techniques to improve run-time of the model
  • Create, maintain and update documentation related to tool development

 

SKILLS /EXPERIENCE/ EDUCATION REQUIRED:

  • Currently enrolled in Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or related fields
  • Excellent process modeling capabilities: Expertise in solving ODEs & system of non-linear equations using MATLAB
  • Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals: Mass & Energy Balance
  • Familiarity with programming: Proficient with Python
