We are now seeking a Legal Researcher / Content Author to work with the content team. This role is appropriate for somebody currently studying law (having finished at least 2nd year) or having just finished their degree. We anticipate the role being 3 days a week depending on study commitments. We are looking for someone who could ideally commit to the role for a period of up to 12 months or more.

This is an ideal opportunity for an independent yet collaborative person to cut their teeth on the practical application of the law, working with wide-ranging clients from diverse industries. They’ll be working with an international team, learning established processes for developing local content on regulatory obligations.
Primary responsibility
- Research and development of training materials for manuscripts used to develop e-learning courses:
- Research for relevant cases on legal databases and media websites
- Translating pieces of legislation into practical, plain English
- Co-authoring new courses on a variety of legal topics
- Addressing client queries by researching relevant legislation
- Restructuring existing courses in line with new learning principles
- Updating existing courses to accommodate legislative changes
- Keeping up to date with changes in legislation

Remuneration
- Commensurate with market rates for casual paralegal roles
