Job Description

This role will report directly to the senior Business Analyst within the Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO) Office. The CDBO Office oversees Fullerton’s business development team (comprising of sales, client management, product development and management, marketing and overseas offices) and drives overall business efforts.

The selected candidate will be responsible in rendering support for the business development team and undertaking strategic research and projects.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Business Management

  • Generate weekly reports and monitor sales activity.
  • Review existing sales reporting process to identify and execute areas of improvement.
  • Research on business intelligence dashboards that inform senior management and internal salesforce.
  • Assist business development team in organizing meetings to drive business goals.

Strategic Projects

  • Create a Market Map Framework, identifying key markets and niches for business development to strengthen Fullerton’s unique value propositions / strategies positioning (e.g. SWOT, blue ocean, brand strategy, etc.).
  • Create a Client Touchpoint Framework, working with business development and investment teams to review and improve contact points with both existing clients and prospects (e.g. digital channels).
  • Review potential project management systems to determine effectiveness, key benefits and costs of pursuing, with a goal to reduce reliance on email exchanges and improve inter-departmental workstreams.
  • Other ad-hoc initiatives.

Education Qualification

  • Undergraduate (internship). Open to any discipline but should be able to reflect interest in the industry / investments.

Experience and Skills

  • Basic understanding of finance or investment and wealth management industry.
  • Proactive team player energized by a collaborative and open working culture.
  • Good written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work under pressure and timeline.
  • Individuals who are able to demonstrate ability to think critically / creatively.
  • Prior experience in management consulting or financial services preferred.
  • Knowledge of programming / process automation / ‘technopreneurship’ preferred.
