The intern will be working with Logistics team to:
Assist Logistics team with their day to day operational plans/ execution;
- Orders planning and forecasting modelling to ensure optimise inventory holding;
- Review stock holding including slowing moving/ ageing, discontinued and excess stocks;
- Monitor purchase flow and contracts, ensure timely delivery and track full procurement cycle;
- Opportunity to learn the procurement and product development stage of business;
- Work with marketing/ sales team to review promotional and seasonal calendar to ensure inventories to meet demand;
- Assist the Business development team in overseas co-ordination of logistics requirements planning;
- Learn to follow up with customer’s queries with excellent service and help refer them to the relevant departments.
Criteria
- Must have studied a Diploma/Degree in Logistics or Business;
- Must have knowledge of inventory workflow, ordering process.;
- Candidate has keen interest in logistics planning/ strategy, workflow design and overseas logistics business development.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin (communicate with China’s Suppliers)
- Good understanding of Retail/ Wholesales trading business.
