FORUM is the largest fintech venture builder in the Asian emerging markets. We ideate, seed fund, and build greenfield ventures in retail finance. Our deep expertise in retail financial services enables a hands-on approach, providing our ventures not only seed capital but also fundraising, recruitment, and communications services. We are currently building four companies across Emerging Asia: CredoLab, SolarHome, AsiaCollect, and AsiaKredit.
The Research Intern will be working closely with the investments management and investor communications teams to:
- Conduct market/sector research and competitor landscape analysis to support FORUM’s fundraising activities and/or identifying of new venture opportunities;
- Assist in commercial, legal and financial due diligence processes
- Build and/or update financial models and budgets as part of the transaction process
- Update online databases with key financial information, statistics and analysis which our portfolio companies depend on;
- Assist in the creating and updating of investor pitch decks
- Support in portfolio monitoring process
- Support the Communications team on investor-related communications and events
Candidate requirements
- Studying towards a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office
- Native proficiency in English
