Project Intern, Group COO Business Management & Communications (July to December 2026)


Position Overview:

The Group COO Office Intern – Business Management & Communications will support the Business Manager and Communications Lead within the Group COO Office. The role will provide hands-on exposure to operational governance, business administration, stakeholder coordination, staff engagement, and corporate communications within the financial services sector. The intern will work across a range of business management and communications initiatives, including process improvement, internal coordination, content development, event support, and external relations activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Management & Operational Governance Support

  • Support operational governance matters, including the tracking and administration of corporate subscriptions, insurance arrangements, and offshoring office-related coordination.
  • Maintain internal trackers, records, and action logs to support timely follow-up, reporting, and audit trail requirements.
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives, including documenting workflows, identifying areas for improvement, and supporting implementation of agreed enhancements.
  • Support staff engagement initiatives, internal surveys, team events, and related follow-up actions.
  • Prepare meeting materials, coordinate inputs from stakeholders, and consolidate updates for internal reporting and management review.

External Relations

  • Draft and edit communication materials, including media releases, factsheets, award submissions, and social media posts.
  • Support media outreach through research on relevant story angles, industry developments, and potential press opportunities.
  • Assist in planning and curating content for LinkedIn and other corporate communication channels.
  • Monitor social media engagement and provide insights on audience interaction.
  • Support updates to corporate website content and related communication materials.

Internal Communications

  • Support the development of company and staff newsletters, including Q&A features that may require interviewing internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Assist in developing visual and audio media assets for internal audiences.
  • Help manage timelines and deliverables to ensure communication projects are completed on schedule.

Event Support

  • Assist in the planning and execution of internal and external events.
  • Prepare event materials, coordinate logistics, and support post-event follow-up as required.

Administrative Support

  • Monitor competitor, industry, and market developments, including potential issues that could impact the business.
  • Update and maintain internal trackers for ongoing business management and communications projects.

 

Experience / Qualifications

  • Able to commit for a minimum of 6 months, with potential for extension.
  • Undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to apply.
  • Based in Singapore.
  • Strong written and spoken English; fluency in any additional language is an added advantage.
  • Good attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines concurrently.
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets, trackers, basic presentation materials, and digital collaboration tools.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communications is preferred.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders in a professional manner.

  • Gain practical exposure to the role of the Group COO Office in supporting business management, operational governance, stakeholder engagement, and corporate communications.
  • Develop experience in maintaining internal trackers, coordinating follow-ups, preparing updates, and supporting governance-related documentation.
