About the Role!

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented intern to support business development, client success, onboarding coordination, trade transaction support, and day-to-day relationship management. The role is suitable for someone who enjoys client-facing work, sales support, operational follow-through, and cross-team coordination in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Business Development and Client Success teams with daily client servicing, sales coordination, onboarding follow-up, and internal workflow tracking.
  • Assist with processing account opening by coordinating KYC/onboarding documents, checking completeness, and following up with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide trade transaction support by coordinating transaction documentation, status updates, client instructions, and post-transaction follow-up with relevant internal teams.
  • Support client relationship management through timely follow-ups, meeting coordination, client communication records, and preparation of client-facing materials.
  • Assist new customer business development by researching potential clients, building outreach databases, identifying partnership leads, and supporting client acquisition campaigns.
  • Coordinate communication between sales, marketing, operations, product, and compliance teams to ensure client requests are handled efficiently.
  • Maintain organized records of sales activities, client correspondence, transaction status, and onboarding progress.
  • Prepare and update sales materials, product information, client presentations, and internal tracking sheets.
  • Conduct market, competitor, and customer research to support business development strategy and campaign planning.
  • Assist in mapping and improving customer journey workflows, documentation processes, and operational handoff points.
  • Collaborate with marketing to align client outreach, campaign messaging, and sales initiatives.
  • Handle general administrative support such as scheduling meetings, organizing documents, managing trackers, and preparing progress updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or current undergraduate studies in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Communications, or related disciplines.
  • Strong interest in business development, client servicing, financial products, fintech, wealth management, or capital markets.
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese to support communication with English- and Chinese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
  • Detail-oriented, responsible, organized, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams.
  • Able to work well in a team and coordinate effectively across departments.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior exposure to sales support, client servicing, investor relations, financial services, or growth/business development is preferred but not required.

Learning Outcomes

  • Practical exposure to client onboarding and account opening processes in financial services.
  • Hands-on understanding of BD pipeline management, client relationship follow-up, and sales campaign execution.
  • Experience supporting investment product discussions, trade-related coordination, and client communication workflows.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, operations, compliance/KYC, and product stakeholders.
