Job Description

CONTEXT OF THE ROLE

Reporting to the HR Business Partner, the HR Intern will act as a support to the HR function and will be an active contributor in a wide range of HR activities. This will involve providing support on day to day HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, employee engagement, payroll administration, HRIS, HR reporting, etc. You will also get a chance to participate in a host of HR projects. This is a great opportunity for undergraduates who are keen to explore a career in HR.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides operational support on the full spectrum of HR
  • Maintains HR documents and files
  • Ensures HRIS is well maintained with updated records
  • Payroll administration and documentation
  • Assists in delivery and planning of induction sessions for new joiners
  • Assists in the onboarding and offboarding process for all employees
  • Assists to initiate, plan and implement people-related/engagement activities
  • Any other projects assigned by the HR team

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Undergraduate preferably pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Psychology or HR
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Creative problem solver, able to think out of the box, with the ability to deliver results
  • Driven to deliver personal best
  • Independent with ability to work under pressure and manage priorities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Familiar with G-suite
  • Tech savvy with minimally intermediate competence in Word, Excel and Powerpoint
