The role for Brand & Ecommerce supports the development of strategy by helping manage a client’s strategic business, branding & marketing programs; researches and provides preliminary analysis of competitive audits; conducts interviews; helps support employee engagement training programs; supports the day-to-day activities associated with client projects.
The essential responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
Branding & Business Consultancy
- Strategic planning for client business under the guidance & direction of our Chief Strategist.
- Assist Project Lead or Chief Strategist to develop the marketing plan, digital strategy, brand experience roadmap and execution of these programs with clients.
- Communicate with clients on a regular basis to inform them of project progress and gather project input
- Follows the research phase of brand projects by attending focus groups, note-taking in interviews, extracting quotes from qualitative research, conducting competitive audits
- Contributes to brand platform development by preparing competitive audits, referencing interview notes, and aligning research findings
Ecommerce Project
- Work closely with the Ecommerce Project Team to develop a new ecommerce concept from business plan to marketing and launch plan.
- Work closely with Project Team to lead the business development of ecommerce partnerships and outbound sales activity
- Develop proposals and contracts for partnership
- Plan and execute all web, SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, e-newsletter, social media and display advertising campaigns to increase traffic through direct and semi-direct online channels that will improve the overall revenue for the site
- Learn CMS, content Management System, ie create maintain website content and ensure all content, products & prices on the site are correct, updated at all times.
- Monitor online customer feedback
- Monitor competitor activity and benchmark against other E-Commerce sites
Requirements
We welcome undergraduates from Business & Marketing discipline:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Previous work experience in marketing and/or communications or consulting preferred.
- Proven resource management skills including an ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- A genuine passion for branding and entrepreneurship
- Has some knowledge of marketing research, branding, corporate design, or advertising
- Ability to successfully keep multiple projects moving forward simultaneously
- Must have a keen interest in branding, digital marketing, ecommerce and passion for further learning
- Responsible in regards to client service and interpersonal relationship skills
- Demonstrated high quality oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of MS Office, PowerPoint and other software for presentation preparation
If you have previous experience working as brand consultant in a consulting firm or have a portfolio to reckon with in Marketing and Digital media, we would like to hear from you. Preferably for marketers experienced in the FMCG, Retail, Beauty & Wellness, Health & Lifestyle and Hospitality industries as well.
