Finquest – Marketing & Communications Executive Intern

Finquest is the premier big data and machine-learning platform that caters to Asian mid-market M&A and direct investments. Our fast-growing company would like to bring on a Marketing and Communications Intern in April 2017 for a period of 8 months. The successful candidate would need to have completed his/her course in a university or polytechnic. We prefer candidates who have a marketing communications and/or journalism background.

We are looking for a driven, ambitious individual who has a passion for all things marketing.

We provide training, guidance and support, as well as the opportunity to experience the industry from the inside and gain valuable work knowledge.

Key roles and responsibilities

• Research and build a list of industry related events across Asia and Europe
• Monitor social channels for trending news, ideas then capitalise on those trends through Finquest’s social media accounts
• Assist with capturing and analysing social media metrics
• Assist in researching and producing content for Finquest’s blog and online resources
• Supporting the marketing team in daily administrative tasks
• Assist in digital marketing including email marketing, SEO, website content update

Requirements

• Solid understanding of different marketing techniques
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications (e.g. CRM tools, Online analytics and Google Adwords)
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Ability to communicate and juggle multiple tasks effectively

• Digital and social media-savvy with knowledge of web analytics and SEO an advantage

• Degree/Diploma in marketing, mass communications, journalism, or a related field of study.
