We are looking for an Energy Market Intern to join our team to support our existing power modelling and data team. This role requires a creative person with attention to detail. Basic understanding of energy markets and market fundamentals is a plus.
Responsibilities
• Support the analyst team with detailed market analyses and data research
• Gather information about regional markets, regulation, and market fundamentals
• Comparing model results, reviewing preliminary forecast output results for inconsistencies
• Learning and running PLEXOS to interpret output model results and energy balances
Candidate Requirements
• Excellent academic record and independent, precise and reliable working style
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills in both written and spoken English
• Basic knowledge of Asian energy markets with emphasis on energy generation (Preferred)
