ECICS Limited – Product Development Intern

In operations since 1981, ECICS Insurance Limited is the only locally owned company authorized to underwrite the full suite of export credit risks including bonds and guarantees for companies operating in Singapore. Regulated by Monetary Authority of Singapore, ECICS became a full-fledged general insurer in 2015.

ECICS Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of IFS Capital Limited, an established financial services group listed on the mainboard of Singapore Exchange. IFS is involved in financing such as factoring, loans, mezzanine financing and private equity investments, and has operations in Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand.

Key Responsibilities:

• To conduct research into industry trends, customer demands, and competitor products to identify opportunities for new development.
• Support the creation and modification of General Insurance products, including pricing strategies, features, and benefits.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., underwriting, marketing, actuarial, legal) to ensure product feasibility and compliance with regulations.
• Help in preparing product presentations, reports, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Analyze customer feedback and data to identify areas for product improvement or optimization.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to innovate new insurance products or features.
• Assist in creating product launch strategies and supporting go-to-market initiatives.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a diploma/degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Interest in the insurance industry, product development, and market analysis.
