Deskimo Pte Ltd – Business Development & Product #SGUnitedTraineeship #SGUP

Deskimo is a new app for the work-from-anywhere workforce. We have created a location-based, instant desk booking app that allows users to pay by the minute to work in a professional environment all at the tap of a button. Businesses love to use Deskimo for their staff, giving them the ability to work from any Deskimo listed location at a fraction of the cost of existing pay upfront subscriptions. And workspaces love Deskimo because we bring them new people and additional revenue to their existing real estate.

This role is open to someone who wants to gain experience in B2B business development, sales and product management in a consumer tech marketplace. This is an approved SG United Traineeship which will span for 6 months with potential for the trainee to convert to full time. 

The individual will be involved in: 

1. Business development - lead sourcing, cold calling, presenting sales pitches, analyse market dynamics and assist in commercial negotiations. 

2. Partnership management - identify issues, problem solve, communicate and analyse commercial outcomes with partners. 

3. Building sales automation - map out customer behaviour, sales funnels, scope out and implement 3rd party solutions. 

4. Technical sales support - assist customers in solving technical account issues and prioritize product fixes. 

5. Product management - explore market trends, gather feedback, develop user stories, and collaborate with product team to enhance offerings to customers. 

The individual will learn: 

• Essential product and project management skills. 

• Effective communication skills within a funded, fast paced startup. 

• Business development and partnership management. 

• How to build a sales pipeline and effective automation.

Education Qualifications Required for the Traineeship Role under SGUnited Traineeship 

• Bachelor Degree.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office (social media skills and presentation and other IT skills would be advantageous but not a must) 

• Effective oral and written management communication skills 

• This position is for both recent graduates and mid-career individuals. 

Graduates and Mid-career individuals interested in this position should possess a Bachelor Degree Qualification. This role is for all Singaporeans or PRs, who graduated from ITE, Polytechnics, Universities and other private institutions in 2019/2020. Those who completed National Service in 2019/2020 are also welcomed to apply! 

This position reports to the Managing Director of Singapore.
