Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE 

We are looking for a Market Planning & Customer Logistics Intern to join the Travel Retail Supply Chain Team. You will be working alongside the Market Planners and Business Analyst and together you will facilitate product availability and excellent in store execution in the Travel Retail sector in Asia Pacific. You will get to work with all functions in our Singapore office, as well as collaborate with our Global Teams located across Europe. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Market Planning

  • Work with the Global Travel Retail team in Europe to review sets status, assess excess risk and create depletion plans
  • Analyze performance of full portfolio and take ownership for communicating and resolving any gaps in stock availability, stock allocation and shipment versus forecast
  • Lead the Excess Inventory review with the Sales Team
  • Ensure that fill rate KPI is successfully met on monthly basis
  • Support or lead the non-sellable review (merchandising, marketing & promotional items)
  • Support Demand Planning team with daily tasks and S&OP preparation

Customer Logistics

  • Track and root-cause gaps in order fulfilment
  • Update the Sales and Customer Service team on projects linked to product registration

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS 

  • Able to commit for at least 6 months (Jan to Jun 2023) for a full-time internship.
  • Skilled in the use of MS Office tools including Outlook (or related email tool) Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Self-Motivated, with a strong work ethic and a sense of confidentiality.
  • Possesses cross-cultural awareness and high emotional intelligence.
  • Articulate, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good balance of a professional attitude while having fun.
  • Strong interest in consumer goods, makeup and beauty products.
  • Strong desire to learn along with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Persuasive, resilient and flexible, able to easily adapt to new challenges.
  • Passionate, enthusiastic and driven to regularly follow-up with loose ends.
  • Able to thrive despite challenges while adopting a positive attitude under pressure.

In this role you will not only learn about Demand Planning but also gain exposure to the Sales, Marketing and Customer Service functions.
