Huadian Natural Gas Singapore Pte Ltd – LNG Operation Coordinator

• Manage the commercial operations of all DES and FOB LNG cargoes, ensuring both term contract volume (SPA) as well as spot volume (MSA/CN) are operationalized within the bounds set forth in the agreement.
• Manage Annual Delivery Program, coordinating and negotiate annual lifting and delivery agreement with supplier and receivers at the same time identified and optimized delivery schedule, receiving terminal and ship utilizations.
• Deal with shipping counter-parties, LNG suppliers, sellers, terminal receivers, vessels on a regular basis regarding all post-deal activities ensuring all necessary operational information is passed on in good time and documentary requirements are met.
• Prepare and send cargo instruction, vessel nominations and voyage instructions and monitor the progress of LNG delivery
• Appoint independent surveyors and ships agents.
• Maintain accurate records of all Operational Information is entered into Cargo / Shipping Database in timely fashion and ensure that adequate records are kept accordingly
• Liaise with other member of Trading and Operations team to ensure smooth operations, avoid supply disruption and minimize costs.
• He / She will need to be comfortable in making timely decision and be working on ad hoc projects where necessary.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with at least 3 years of working experience.

Job requirements:

• Prior knowledge and experience of LNG trading and shipping operations, including cargo, vessel voyage management, chartering, scheduling is desirable.
• An awareness of Marine Assurance, LNG Vessel Ship Shore Compatibility, Custody Transfer Measurement System is as added advantage.

• Bilingual in both English & Mandarin as this role is required to work with Chinese counterparties.

• Advanced Excel knowledge, prior experience in developing cargo scheduling and optimization tools would be an advantage.
• Able travel for business, less than 10% of time。
• Passion for LNG vessel operations, a quick learner with an ability to thrive under pressure
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skill.
