Overall Purpose:
Work closely with the Senior Quality Engineer to complete the daily assigned tasks (incoming inspection, in-process inspection and final/outgoing inspection).
Conducting inspection on various stages of the inspection to ensure the base pipes fulfill the required quality as given in the production requirements.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform incoming material inspections as per the appropriate WI.
- Perform the daily in-process and final inspection of the product in accordance with the QP and WI.
- Report to the SQE on any non-conformance(s) detected during inspection.
- Ensure repaired/reworked items are re-inspected before releasing the product for further processing or delivery.
- Prepare and compile the quality dossiers prior to shipment to customers.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Perform any ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by superior.
- Support in the orientation of new recruitment for the quality team by providing on-the-job-training and sharing the company culture and practice, and method of inspection etc.
- Support and participate in company-wide or departmental programs such as:
Safety initiatives, Singapore Quality Class
Total Quality Management, Lean Manufacturing
Housekeeping (5S), Continuous Improvement Program
Social Activities as:

Education NITEC/ O or N Levels
Experience At least 1-2 years working experience in fast-pace
Manufacturing environment.
Communication Able to communicate in (read, write, speak, listen and
Understand) Simple English and Mandarin.
Working Condition Shop-Floor environment
Special Requirements
- Has to be physically fit (with good eye sight)
- Good interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of ISO9001, Quality Management System, Quality Control and the usage of measuring devices will be an advantage.
- Able to work rotating shift and overtime on weekdays, weekends and sometimes public holidays
Salary is commensurate based on experience.
