Job Description

Primary Purpose

You will be part of SEA Merchandising team, supporting Kate Spade brand. As part of this internship, you will have the opportunity to work with regional merchandisers to ensure appropriate product assortment, at the right timing, in order to optimize the sales and project the brand image and strategy. This will include product allocations, replenishments and all stock operations. This role will report into Regional Senior Planning Associate in Singapore.

 

During the internship, you will have the opportunity to..

  • Gain exposure to analysis of weekly sales, seasonal sell thru and product performance reports
  • Gain understanding of merchandise data reporting and analytics to drive planning & forecasting
  • Update product allocation, stock planning and consolidation report
  • Support the enhancement of reporting i.e. balancing of allocation and replenishment for new season launch in a timely and accurate manner
  • Gain exposure to buy strategy based on consumer landscape and customer buying behavior
  • Drive the automation of allocation reporting to improve reporting efficiency
  • Support in SKU creation and updating of new launch images
  • Support in PO creation and shipment tracking

  • Currently pursuing a Business degree will be an advantage

  • Highly curious and proactive in learning about the industry and merchandising
  • Analytical skills and ability to translate data into action points; advanced Excel skills will be a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills, structured and detail-oriented
  • Effective communication skills both orally and in writing
  • Passion for fashion and driven nature
