We are looking for an intern who enjoys programming and data processing. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to computer-driven trading in the financial markets. The individual will work in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
- Development of user-facing elements and server side logic
- Implementation of security and data protection
- Integration of data storage solutions
- Proficient in SQL queries
- Write Python scripts to automate data processing
Requirements:
- Graduate currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or related discipline.
- Experience in Python (Django), and integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
- Knowledge with ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries, threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture
- Knowledge in server-side templating languages (Jinja 2, Mako, etc) and front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3)
- Knowledge of user authentication and authorisation between multiple systems, servers, and environments
