Certis Internship Program (Data Science Intern)
Overview
As a Data Advocate, you will involve in projects related to advanced data analytics and artificial intelligence techniques to generate insights and client solutions. You will support our business unit to analyze large-scale structured and unstructured data and develop machine learning modeling and applications across selective projects.
What the Candidate is expected to do
- Create effective strategies to collect data, conduct research, perform data analysis and implement analytics solutions
- Dissect and analyze large amounts of quantitative data, including work with complex data structures and queries
- Spot trends and translate data-driven insights to tactical recommendations
- Develop and evaluate predictive models for forecasting purposes
- Develop machine learning and optimization models and solutions for better process efficiency
- Advocate for automation
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or Postgraduate degree (Master’s, Ph.D.) with a specialization in Statistics. Economics, Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Possess basic knowledge on machine learning and artificial intelligence systems
Skills and Experiences
- Looking for someone with the following skill set:
- Proficient with at least one of the following: R or Python
- Knowledge in machine learning framework and experience in diverse statistical and data mining techniques (e.g. from hypothesis testing to GLM/Regression, Random Forest, Clustering etc)
- Strong communication skill and ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment
