Job Description

Summary

Carro is looking for a success-driven, passionate Recruiter (With startup experience) to accelerate and refine our recruitment strategies & activities. You will be instrumental in building up the talent within the company across functions and for each operating country.


 

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

1. Talent Attraction & Recruitment

- Source and establish quality pipeline for outstanding talent across all functions and geographies that Carro operates in

- Develop and execute recruitment strategies and activities together with Head of HR

- Implement a talent evaluation framework and process to ensure that each prospective hire is accessed sufficiently before offer

- Partner with departments to create job descriptions, forecast, provide recommendations and manage recruitment needs

- Create accurate and attractive job postings and selection metric. Screen, shortlist and interview candidates 

- Develop and manage salary benchmarking for new and existing hires across all functions

- Collect and analyse data to continuously improve the hiring and retention process, particularly on cost-per-hire, time to hire, employee turnover rate and cost


2. Culture building & Organisational Development

- As part of the Employee Experience team, foster & reinforce a collaborative, supportive work culture that underpins Carro’s brand and ambition (e.g. organise team building events) and helps people develop faster towards a common goal

- Drive & implement strategies that augment and maintain high employee motivation and performance

- Maintain & analyse data reports and performance metrics to drive improvements as needed


3. Recruitment Administration

- Decide how to, and effectively utilise recruiters and headhunters for each country

- Screen and evaluate applicants and funnel potential hires to hiring managers

- Conduct pre-screening interviews, reference and background checks

- Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in an organised system

- Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process

- Preparing and send offer packages & rejection emails

- Perform other special projects as assigned


Requirements:

- 3 or more years developing and handling recruitment-related activities (experience, in startups, tech recruiting & recruiting in Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia preferred) /

- Up-to-date knowledge of each country's labour and employment regulations; demonstrated experience to serve as knowledge resource on HR matters to all staff

- Knowledge of Human Resource systems, tools, metrics & best practices

- Strong business acumen with demonstrated ability to translate business strategy into recruitment needs and activities

- Excellent people-management & interpersonal skills (verbal & written); Proven ability to build strong, positive relationships &  influence and manage internal & external stakeholders across all levels 

- Proven experience strategising and onboarding great people, teams, culture;  follow through from ideation to execution
