BV-AQ (Singapore) Pte Ltd – Quality Assurance Intern

We are in testing, inspection and testing industry which doing the food testing such as milk powder and general food testing.

Job Responsibility is to assist the Quality Manager in managing the quality and regulatory compliance systems.

Internal and External Audit

• Coordinate the internal and external audit programs.

Quality Assurance

• Implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management Systems.
• Monitor releases from regulatory bodies for changes that affect the laboratory activities.
• Communication of relevant changes to the QMS and Regulatory Requirements to staff.
• Ensure name, initial and signature of a new staff are recorded on Record of Staff Signatures.

Documentation

• Review and give final approval to all QMS documentation.
• Ensure that all QMS documentation is available to staff as required.
• Provide administrative support to laboratory staffs such as management of logbooks and archiving of technical records.
• Prepare monthly Quality Report and Scorecard as required.

Non-conformances

• Review Non-Conformance Reports completed by the laboratory prior to final sign off and filing.
• Ensure lab follows up further if actions are not deemed adequate.
• Complete the quality logs on final sign off of the NCR’s.
• Monitor Retest and Environmental Monitoring Program Report and generate NCRs where relevant.

Proficiency Reporting

• Responsible for monitoring of the proficiency participation programs.
• Generate NCRs for outlier results.
• Liaise with Team Leaders/ Analytical Services Manager and providers to confirm scope of participation and frequencies.

LIMS Functions

• Approve and activate LabWare test analyses.
• Responsible for the updates on accreditation and reviewer of LabWare test analyses.

Equipment Management 

• Liaise with Team Leaders and service provider on the scheduling of equipment calibration and preventive maintenance program.
• Ensure all internal calibrations (UV-Vis spectrophotometer, pipettes, dispensers, thermometers and timers) are performed at the pre-determined schedule.

Quality Training

• Provide Quality induction as required for new staff.

Requirements:

• Possess minimum Diploma in Life Science/Chemistry/ Food Science or related discipline
• Have an understanding of ISO/IEC 17025 or ISO 9001 will be an advantage
• Proficient in the use of MS applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Prefer someone can start in Oct and if can work with us for 6 months is welcome but 4-5 months is acceptable too.
