This program is suitable for undergrads in Universities whom will be on break. Candidates should specialize or have a strong interest in the areas of Banking & Finance/ Economics & Finance / Business Management.
This is an insights program which aim to provide a holistic experience and traineeship for undergrads. To facilitate the traineeship, subject matter experts will be included to provide mentorships/coaching sessions to shortlisted undergraduates. This program also seeks to expose the candidates to both backend research roles (analytical) and frontend roles (Clientele/B2b presentation) so as to allow the candidate to understand better on their comparative advantages and strengths
1) Five Days Insights Program by Fund Manager
-Overview of the fund management industry
- Hedging techniques & alternate investment classes
- Case study of a selected fund, including pricing models, historical performance, analysis and standard deviation
Candidates will then be tasked to take on backend research roles with the fund house to analyze on assigned funds, including their risks, standard deviation, legitimacy, performances. Candidate will report directly to an Investment Analyst of the fund manager for this shadowing program
2) 3 Days Insights Program by Investment Lawyer
- Private equities topics
- Trusts structure and corporate wealth management
- Introduction to Mergers and Acquisitions
Candidates will not be undergoing any research roles in this topic. This 3 days program is created for candidates to understand more about the corporate finance/corporate investment industry
3) Investment Presentations (by our working partners)
-Candidates will be put through a series of investments classes
- Candidates will understand how to calculate ratios and do research, and to present to the clients
- Candidates will understand all the funds used and their features including investment philosophy
Outstanding candidates will be sponsored for a certification in private banking
Candidates will also be tasked to concurrently take on roles in clientele facing positions with our working partners, to advise corporate business owners on corporate finance/business continuity or to present to clients on investments products.
