Bizlink Centre is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving disadvantaged individuals, in particular persons with disabilities, through training and employment in Singapore. Bizlink is a registered charity with the office of the Commissioner of Charities and is conferred the status of the Institution of Public Character (IPC).
Bizlink has been serving the disability community since 1986.Today, individuals, regardless of their disabilities and disadvantaged background, are enabled through work within an inclusive community.
Working Hours:
Monday – Friday: 8.30am to 5.30pm
May be required to work on Saturdays depending on operational needs from 8.00am to 12.00pm
Allowance is provided for overtime after working hours.
- Carry out visits to the employer’s premises to understand about the job nature and accessibility of the work premises
- Communicate with employers to understand their requirements in hiring and explore possible placements for PWDs
- Conduct employment assessments on candidates to determine suitability for employment
- Maintain current knowledge of fair employment practices, policies, laws, and regulations
- Source for suitable work placement opportunities for candidates
- Contribute to continuous improvement plans within catering operations
- Assist operations team with regards to daily hours, schedules, productivity, quality, and safety
- Work collaboratively with other team members like social work associates, professionals (e.g., occupational therapist, or social worker)
Job Requirements:
Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Social Science/Sociology, Psychology or equivalent
Able to work independently and in teams
Have the patience and passion to work with disabilities and the needy
