Banff Cyber Technologies – Associate Marketing Officer

Hired interns will have the opportunity to work with the Chief Marketing Officer, to plan and design an all-encompassing marketing campaign for the company as well as the newly launched SaaS service.

Some of the specific tasks that the intern will be required to undertake will be:

• Marketing Research – To conduct research on the company’s targeted customer segment, from using known survey research methods, defining research problems, designing questionnaires, sampling schemes, coding and analyzing data, and reporting;
• Digital Marketing & Marketing Analytics  - To work on the company’s identified digital channels, such as Email Marketing (Using MailChimp), Google’s search engine optimisation (SEO), Google AdWords’ search engine marketing (SEM); And to undertake the necessary marketing analytics to refine the Digital marketing strategy.                                                            

Other tasks that the hired intern might need to undertake will include some copy writing, digital production, graphic design and front-end web programming.

Requirements

We are looking for a multi-disciplinary candidate that has both Information Systems and Marketing or communications background, and show an aptitude & interest for digital marketing.  Key traits include:

• Proactive, energetic and creative with a love of learning.  We prefer to choose someone with awesome attitude over straight A student.
• Strong creativity and copywriting skills.
• Attention to detail and process driven to ensure completion of all tasks quickly and on time
• Must have great research skills and is able to analyse data
• Must be willing to embrace digital and love technology
• Graphic Design and Web Programming skills would be an extremely happy bonus
