Role Overview
We are seeking a Regulatory Affairs & Operations Intern who is a final-year university student graduating this year, with the intention to convert to a full-time role from 1 July, subject to performance.
This is a hybrid role combining Regulatory Affairs (50%) and Business Operations (50%). The ideal candidate will support medical device registrations, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to the operational execution of our service offerings. You will work closely with the CEO on both regulatory strategy and business operations across Singapore and regional markets.
Key Responsibilities Regulatory Affairs (50%)
- Prepare, review, and submit medical device registration dossiers to HSA; monitor submissions in other ASEAN countries handled by local regulatory personnel
- Advise on regulatory strategy, product classification, labeling, and compliance requirements
- Monitor regulatory changes and provide guidance to ensure ongoing compliance in Singapore and ASEAN markets
- Support post-market surveillance activities
- Act as a point of contact for manufacturers' regulatory teams and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth and timely registration processes
Operations & Business Support (50%)
- Coordinate and manage hair and urine drug testing services, including recruitment, training, and supervision of freelance personnel for overseas operations
- Handle client enquiries via email, telephone, and walk-in visits, ensuring timely and professional support
- Support cross-functional business operations, including logistics coordination, administrative tasks, and process improvements
- Assist in developing and implementing scalable operational workflows to improve efficiency and productivity
- Work closely with the CEO on execution of business initiatives and operational planning
Requirements
- Availability to commence the internship shortly after contract signing is an advantage
- Open to candidates with no prior regulatory affairs experience (training will be provided)
- Strong knowledge of Singapore medical device regulations (HSA) is preferred; familiarity with ASEAN regulations is an advantage
- For Singaporeans: proficiency in both English and Chinese is required
- For international students: fluency in either English or Chinese is required
- Strong organisational, communication, and project management skills; able to handle multiple responsibilities concurrently
- Adaptable and comfortable working in both structured regulatory and fast-paced operational environments
Work Environment
- Office-based role
- Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
