Akribis Systems – Senior / Junior Product Consultant

• Provide recommendation and consultation to Akribis sales team and customers for Akribis’ core products, including motors, controllers and drives, encoders and sensors, modules and stages, vision systems, etc.
• Conduct evaluation and proof of concept for customers, whenever necessary.
• Prepare and conduct product/application demo, visit customers and answering any technical questions they may have.
• Provide training to customer.
• Review and guide the development of product manual and application notes for new products/applications
• Overseas travel is required with a short notice period.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronic Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Having control related work experience or education background.
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in selling and supporting motion control products like motors, encoders, controller, drivers and stages.
• Strong interest in motion control and factory automation applications, robotics, etc.
• Deep involvement in Singapore Robotics Games or other international robotics games can be considered as relevant working experience.

Other Information

• Possess a strong interest in using motion control and/or factory automation products.
• Able to continuously learn new products, understanding their advantages and disadvantages in detail, to provide sound recommendations to customers.
• Good interpersonal skills and able to interface with all levels, internally and externally, in a professional and responsive manner.
