Job Description

About the role
We are looking for a HR & Finance intern who thrives in a challenging, exciting and fast-paced start-up environment. He/she should be proactive, organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a timely manner. Someone who is independent but also able to collaborate in a team environment. 

Reporting directly to our HR & Finance Manager, you will play a key role in performing necessary arrangements for candidates, as well as having to be detail oriented when it comes to creating invoices and tallying of amounts in the commission statement received.

Job Scope: 

HR

- Assess through candidates who applied on our job search sites
- Conducting of interviews upon adequate trainings, and contribute in the selection process: ranging from liaising with candidates to interview arrangement
- Work closely with other departments (Marketing, Operations, Sales etc) to build and maintain a database of potential candidates
- Develop, update, implement job scopes in the event of new roles
- Facilitate in the onboarding and offboarding of employees
- Handle private and confidential matters (eg: payrolls, commission)
- Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned
- Maintain company's culture

Finance

- Creating invoices for clients, suppliers and partners as needed
- Auditing of invoices to ensure that monthly commission statements tally with our database
- Preparations of commissions

Requirements

- JC graduates waiting to be matriculated into Universities and Polytechnics are welcomed!
- Must possess people's skills
- A committed team player who is self-reliant and responsible
- Proactive in receiving direction, and meticulous with effective follow-up abilities
- Willing to share ideas and learning experiences
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Committed in delivering high-quality works that support the team and the company
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
