As part of our commitment to promoting financial literacy, we produce fun and research driven content covering personal finance, investing, estate planning, wealth preservation, and economic developments. We are seeking suitable interns who enjoy research, critical thinking, and creating educational content that benefits the wider community.

You will be involved in projects that combine financial research, business intelligence and digital communication. Your work may span financial markets, economic developments, consumer finance, companies, industries and broader business trends.

Rather than simply collecting information, you will be encouraged to investigate the reasons behind major developments, connect information from different sources and identify insights that can be communicated to a wider audience.

The role provides an opportunity to experience how research can be transformed into useful educational and digital material.

What You Will Work On

Your projects will vary depending on current business and content priorities. You may be asked to investigate a financial or business topic, assess relevant information and develop a concise summary of your findings.

You could be involved in monitoring market movements, following economic developments, researching companies and industries, examining emerging investment themes or exploring issues affecting consumers and businesses.

Typical projects may involve:

Exploring Finance & Markets

As part of the internship, you will have opportunities to deepen your understanding of financial concepts and current market developments.

Depending on the projects you work on, topics may include investment principles, equity markets, fixed income, inflation, interest rates, economic cycles, market behaviour, savings, budgeting and long-term financial planning.

You may also examine how financial news and economic events affect businesses, investors and everyday consumers.

The internship is focused on research and financial education. It does not involve providing individualised financial advice or making investment recommendations for specific individuals.

From Research to Content

An important part of the role is learning how information can be communicated effectively.

After completing research, you may help develop the findings into different forms of digital content. This could include preparing the underlying research for a video, developing an educational social media concept or assisting with an article explaining a financial topic.

The Person We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is inquisitive, resourceful and comfortable learning through research.

You may be studying finance, economics, business, communications, media or another related discipline, although your academic background is not the only consideration.
