Thereafter Pte. Ltd. is a Singapore-based estate planning firm focused on helping individuals and families put in place essential legacy structures, including Wills and Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA).

We combine practical advisory with an efficient execution process, working closely with a network of legal professionals and partners to ensure that clients’ intentions are properly documented and implemented. Beyond client advisory, Thereafter is also actively involved in building partnerships across legal,  banking & financial, and medical sectors to support a more integrated estate planning ecosystem.

Our team operates in a fast-paced, execution-driven environment, providing interns with hands-on exposure to real client work, business operations, and cross-industry collaboration.

This internship provides an opportunity to gain practical exposure to the commercial and strategic functions of a professional services organisation. Interns will work closely with senior team members across a range of projects involving business strategy, consulting, market intelligence, marketing, and business development.

The role is designed to provide a broader understanding of how organisations identify opportunities, evaluate commercial considerations, develop growth initiatives, and translate strategic ideas into execution. Interns will be given opportunities to participate in real projects while developing professional capabilities in research, analysis, communication, and project execution.

Strategic Business Exposure

You will be involved in projects that require an understanding of business objectives, market conditions, and commercial considerations. Depending on the project, you may assist with gathering industry information, reviewing business opportunities, assessing relevant market developments, and preparing materials for strategic discussions.

You will also gain exposure to how client and internal projects are structured, from initial information gathering through to analysis and implementation. This may include contributing to business presentations, proposals, briefing materials, project reports, and other professional documents.

Commercial & Marketing Initiatives

The internship will also provide hands-on exposure to business development and market outreach. You may participate in initiatives designed to expand the organisation's reach, strengthen its market presence, and generate new business opportunities.

This can include supporting digital marketing activities, lead-generation initiatives, campaign planning, and promotional projects. You will have the opportunity to review campaign outcomes and business development information, helping the team understand what is driving engagement and where further opportunities may exist.

Business Intelligence & Reporting

An important aspect of the role involves working with information used to assess business performance. You will gain experience organising data from different sources, maintaining project information, and developing structured reports for internal use.

Where appropriate, you may review performance indicators, project progress, campaign results, and other operational information. The objective is to help transform raw information into meaningful observations that can support planning, prioritisation, and business improvement.

Market & Financial Research

Interns will also have opportunities to explore developments across the economy, financial markets, industries, and investment landscape. Research assignments may involve following economic developments, analysing market trends, reviewing industry movements, and studying investment-related themes.

Research findings may subsequently be developed into internal briefing materials, market updates, educational resources, research reports, or other professional materials. This provides an opportunity to strengthen your ability to evaluate information from public sources and communicate complex topics in a structured and accessible manner.

Cross-Functional Projects

As part of the internship, you may contribute to projects across different areas of the organisation, including business expansion, financial education, mortgage-related initiatives, professional training, and operational development.
