Lion Global Investors Ltd – Intern, Fixed Income

• Assist the FI analysts on ESG coverage for some of the companies under their coverage.
• May be asked to present the results to the Fixed Income Credit Committee, including any trends and highlight the laggards.
• To assist the PMs to monitor investment guidelines that cannot be coded in the front office system
• To assist the PMs on select market queries from management and/or clients
• To monitor injections and withdrawals for select accounts and alert if cash needs to be raised.
• To assist the team on ad-hoc projects eg, when onboarding or switching of internal systems and/or platforms etc
• To assist FI dealers in collating trade orders

Job Requirements:

• Undergraduate pursuing a degree in relevant field of studies
• Have some finance / accounting related academic training preferred but not necessary and/or previous internship with financial institutions
• Interest in financial markets and an analytical mind
• Able to work independently to deliver high quality work
• Good Team player
• Good presentation and writing skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Comfortable with using Python (Pandas Library) and VBA
• Open for full-time internship only
